Poet Robyn Davis is a native Floridian, born and raised in the Everglades where her mother tried to turn her into a “Southern Lady;” it didn’t work. Full of irreverence, Robyn caught the first alligator heading north, yelling “Get up, Ally, I see city lights!”

An outstanding poet with a wit that won’t quit, Robyn is a humanitarian with humor and a Universalist with undying love for family and friends. In a long-term relationship, Robyn and her partner have been together since 1971, and divide their time between homes in Jefferson County, FL (the only county left in Florida with no red light) and Franklin, NC.

Recently retired from long careers as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Juvenile Probation Officer with the State of Florida, Robyn believes in social discourse to bring together different views and find common ground. It all starts with being “Loving Mirrors,” first with self and then with others.
