Friend as a Mirror

A good friend should

be a loving mirror.

Tell me when I shine,

and don’t be afraid to show me the dark,

even when I don’t understand.

I will, with time,

and you being true to the vision

will help if I need to look

more than once.

Friend, be a loving mirror to me,

and I will mirror love to you.
